THE JOB / Account Manager, Client Services (Endurance) (Payment Services Client)

CLIENT SERVICES / Responsible for leading Octagon’s client business and day-to-day management of client programs.

***Our headquarters are in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a preference for working in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Los Angeles, CA, or Atlanta, GA. We will also consider a remote-based working arrangement for qualified candidates.***

Are you a collaborative self-starter looking for your next opportunity as an agency lead on a major Endurance partnership? We are looking for an Account Manager to collaborate on the development, planning, and execution of our client’s major Endurance partnerships. In this role, you’ll develop and implement programs that support our client’s objectives and partnership rights.

The work you’ll do

  • Leads and oversees the day-to-day communication of the client’s major Endurance sponsorships
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, property, talent, and vendors
  • Manage talent contracts, assets, and on-site responsibilities
  • Lead client and vendor/partner status calls, providing relevant updates, ensuring deadlines are met, and clarifying next steps
  • Provide POVs and recommendations for activation and partnership opportunities
  • Oversee key programming elements from planning to execution
  • Manage finance trackers, budgets, and program reconciliations
  • Build activation plans, event guidebooks, recaps, and other event-related documents
  • Oversight and management of direct reports, while also supporting career development
  • Oversee quality control of all deliverables
  • Other related duties/projects as reasonably assigned
  • Travel to partnership events managing the client’s onsite programming - including non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends

Who we’re looking for

  • 4-6 years of relevant sponsorship and/or agency experience
  • A strategic problem solver with demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to tackle problems optimally and independently
  • A proactive self-starter who jumps into tasks with passion regardless of how big or small
  • Outstanding project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and produce quality work within strict timelines
  • Exceptional financial competence, including building, managing, and reconciling budgets
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • Willing to work non-traditional hours including weekend travel

The base range for this position is $60,000 – 70,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure, and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background pertinent experience, and qualifications.
