Overview of role:

The role of Production Director is pivotal; having responsibility for leading the management, development and implementation of events and installations in live environments on behalf of the agency’s clients.

You will ensure projects are watertight in terms of attention to detail and budgetary management, and will create strong relationships with clients, their direct team, the wider agency and a range of trusted suppliers.

You will help build the agency diverse brand experiences – leading the production of integrated campaigns, coordinating experiential activations, leading content production, managing events, and more.

 

We are looking for:

If you are a Production Director or an experienced Senior Producer, who is creative and commercially astute with keen eye for detail, quality management, event production, time management and multiple team coordination, with significant experience in a similar role/agency this could be the role for you.

You will be resourceful, self-motivated, creative and analytical in your thinking and approach. This combined with excellent stakeholder management skills and a proactive, team orientated approach to the work will see you succeed in this.

You will have the gravitas, experience and approach that will foster confidence throughout the agency as well as the ability to govern processes and build production capability within the agency.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

· Provide production expertise – guiding internal teams to meet client goals and objectives in a balanced and positive approach

· Maintain the highest standards across all live production activities

· Deeply understand the client’s brand and their communication objectives

· Receive, interrogate and interpret client briefs delivering fresh event concepts, techniques and innovation

· Build production budgets and work with account teams to track and report regularly throughout project

· Source, liaise and coordinate multiple third party suppliers / event partners including a pool of freelance producers, adhering to the agency’s supplier engagement process

· Plan production timelines and milestones with teams – ensuring deadlines are met

· Collaborate with account management, creative and design teams to develop, communicate and manage experiential project plans, budgeting, venue selections, logistic planning etc.

· Lead internal compliance for necessary planning and documentation regarding event production including handbooks, schedules, insurance, RAMS etc, working together with CMG legal counsel

· Onsite management of teams/suppliers

· You have a passion for sport and entertainment – knowledge of motorsport landscape beneficial

· You enjoy your work taking you to different parts of the world

· You have experience with HSSE management and writing and interrogating Risk Assessments and Event Safety Management Plans

· 5+ years related experience in an agency environment

· 3+ years of proven Production Director/Snr. Producer experience is essential

· 2+ years’ experience at managerial level

 

 

You will also need to have:

· A degree Qualification or relevant work experience

· Strong sense of project management and multi discipline coordination

· Proven experiential and/or event marketing production experience within an agency environment

· Experience in producing a diverse range of brand activations and experiences including integration of new technologies

· High level PowerPoint Skills, Excel and Outlook and a confidence to present internally and externally

 

It’s not essential but will really help if:

· You are fluent in any other languages particularly German, Spanish, Italian or French

· You have a Health and Safety qualification/certification

· Health & Safety training including Managing Safely and/or IOSH or NEBOSH qualification

· Working in and operating to the ISO 45001 standard
