THE JOB / Account Executive, Home Improvement Client

EXPERIENCES / Responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs.

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our team supporting our Home Improvement client’s divisional partnerships. This team manages MLB, Chick-fil-A Kickoff and Peach Bowl, and other local Atlanta properties!

The Account Executive will execute events, assist in the planning, and help with the day-to-day partner management of the MLB, Chick-fil-A Kickoff and Peach Bowl, as well as the Peachtree Road Race, Georgia Aquarium, and other client properties. The position will include vendor and partnership communication, operational and administrative duties of the account, hospitality and event staffing!

The AE will be able to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with a team to communicate with various internal and external agencies, partners, vendors, and clients. Excellent organizational skills, critical thinking, outstanding attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills, particularly within a team, are required for this position. Staffing on-site is also required including weekends, nights and potentially holidays.

  • Planning, development, and execution of various on-site activities and operations (i.e. staffing, logistics, tracking, etc.)
  • Writing event guidebooks, activation recaps and other event related documents
  • Inventory management of event materials (i.e. premiums, signage assets, activation elements, etc.)
  • Coordinate and lead on-site event operations and execution including event set-up and breakdown
  • Manage event staffing including sourcing and on-site oversight of Brand Ambassadors
  • Facilitate vendor engagements, including execution and management of any contracts and payments
  • Event tickets inventory distribution and management
  • Tracking expenses and processing of POs, invoices and monthly finance reporting
  • Support Account Manager on additional MLB and Chick-fil-A Kickoff and Peach Bowl partnership management and activation
  • Other related duties/projects as assigned including assisting in the development of all client results
  • Assist team in supporting day-to-day needs
  • Support the creation of detailed client presentations and activation plans

  • Passion for and expertise in sports, entertainment, gaming, music and/or celebrity culture
  • 0-1 year of relevant sponsorship and/or agency experience
  • Experience in event execution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative and solve problems independently
  • Capacity to become knowledgeable on the clients’ industry, brand and product offering
  • Very organized, great attention to detail, and able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • Willing to work weekends and some holidays with non-traditional hours with a positive approach
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
