THE JOB / Director, Digital Media Strategy

STRATEGY / Responsible for developing and executing investment recommendations for our clients.

Our Director, Digital Media Strategy will work across clients to deliver digital & social media campaigns, utilizing sports sponsorships to drive measurable results. Join an award-winning group of digital strategists, analysts, and content creators to develop concepts and programs that are equal parts creative, analytical and grounded in insights!

This role will consist of evaluating client objectives through the lens of digital and social media, determining the best platforms, partnerships, and content solutions to achieve these goals. You will lead execution and measurement of new and ongoing campaigns – exhibiting initiative, organization & time management. This role requires collaboration across several internal teams and partners and will be relied upon as a digital specialist at the agency.

THE WORK YOU’LL DO

  • Craft savvy recommendations and execute digital campaigns – including (but not limited to) paid social, programmatic media buying, media partnerships, audience targeting, and measurement strategies
  • Provide recommendations on how best to utilize sponsorship assets to drive brand goals and amplify activations using partner & talent assets
  • Collaborate closely with internal digital media planners and strategist to develop targeting & distribution recommendations
  • Measure campaigns and deliver inventive insights to clients on what is working and what can be optimized
  • Develop creative content ideas that ladder up to client objectives
  • Confidently pitch concepts to clients & partners, holding the room (or Zoom) by yourself
  • Simultaneously lead multiple projects relying on strong project management and organizational skills

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You have a passion for and expertise in sports, entertainment, music and/or celebrity & lifestyle culture
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or a minimum 5+ years’ experience in digital/social media buying
  • You have advanced proficiency with paid social buying platforms (Facebook, Google, Twitter) – and can execute these programs firsthand
  • You are fluid at speaking to and recommending programmatic buying tactics and audience development strategies via data management platforms (Google, Adobe, etc.)
  • You can synthesize raw data to develop insights and actionable recommendations – you’re advanced in Excel, and can distill numbers down into an aesthetically pleasing PowerPoint
  • You’re organized – you know how to keep everything on task and manage timing expectations and communication of project tracking
  • You’re highly adaptive to changing client needs – sports is fast-paced and the ability to quickly and calmly pivot is critical
  • You use the following words to describe yourself: nerdy, self-motivated, detail oriented, upbeat, and inquisitive
